I am an acrylic and mixed media painter and art educator. I have a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master of Arts in Whole Systems Design.

Many years ago I was fortunate enough to see the profound impact art can have in people’s lives. I taught art to children, as an art docent, in our public schools for over 12 years, taught at a juvenile detention center, worked with youth & young adults experiencing homelessness, and currently teach art to inmates at our local jail. Previously, I created a kids’ subscription art box  business and ran that company for six years until recently selling it.

I am heavily influenced by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, my love of the water, my early and endearing fondness for the Impressionist Masters, & my Mom, who was a painter.
